Jon Paul Photography - Blond Bear Laying on Fall Grasses

About Blond Bear Laying on Fall Grasses

Each year the Kokanee Salmon spawn in Taylor Creek here in South Lake Tahoe. This brings out the black bears, as they try to fatten up in preparation for a long winters sleep. This beautiful three year old blond colored bear was enjoying the morning laying in a bed of meadow grass and salmon remains along the river bank. One of the most beautiful bears I’ve seen in Lake Tahoe.
