A note from the artist-
It was George’s first time down to visit our daughter’s remodeled condo and have a vacation. We had had a ball the night before at a restaurant called “Margaritaville”. A few too many of the house beverage and dancing to the tropical fun songs definitely made us Parrot Heads.
This trip to Cancun and their aquarium gave me the opportunity to photograph this pair of parrots, one grooming the other. These guys reminded me of our relationship, where George always asks what he should wear and has me tie his tie for him. He is definitely more concerned about his looks and his grooming than I am. They say women are vain?
