Art lets you connect with an artist’s experiences, emotions, and creative process in the purest way. The Marcus Ashley Gallery invites visitors to come by and admire the works of emerging and established artists. You’ll find fantastic exhibits by Steve Barton, Dr. Suess, Michelangelo, Michael Parkes, and Ira Reines, to name a few, all under one roof. The gallery is proud to represent artists that work with different creative genres and influences. The Fabio Napoleoni art is a must-see collection that will pull at your heartstrings. The artist’s bestselling works are identifiable by their emotional depth, raw authenticity, and immersive themes.
Friends and Foes reveals Fabio’s beloved characters from his children’s book, Dragonboy. The main character is a playful, adventurous, and imaginative little boy in a dragon costume. He enjoys playing pretend with his best friend, Drako, the friendly dragon. In this painting, Dragonboy wields a sword and shield at Drako as the dragon assumes a protective stance in response. When they’re not out on an adventure, fun roleplaying is a favorite past-time of the best friends.
The artist drew inspiration for Dragonboy from his son, Marcus, who had an imaginary friend growing up. His son’s innocence and sense of wonder are beautifully captured through the lovable characters of Friends and Foes.
