A note from the artist-
When you see them in the long grass, you know both why they call it LONG grass and also why the black and white vertical stripes work well for camouflage. The shadows from the grass actually add to the camo effect. I used a similar pattern when I painted out hunting rig, instead of a “realtree” or scrub brush type, because we hunted in old Mexico, in among the mesquite trees and very tall grasses.
