If you grew up in the West, you are probably familiar with Baskin-Robbins’ 31 flavors, but if you grew up in the East as I did, then you likely remember the 28 flavors at Howard Johnson. As a kid, having that occasional invitation to choose from 28 flavors is a happy memory.
