A note from the artist-
Ahhh, as we age, we do develop a palette for hard liquor. My spouse decided to switch from his Martinis to Scotch on the rocks. He also took up smoking an occasional cigar. There is something a bit elegant about the crystal ashtray and rocks glass, so I decided this monkey needed to be seated on a “tuffet” style cushion while he was enjoying both of his indulgences.
