A note from the artist-
Black bears are found over much of the United states and can be yard and garden pests in many areas. I have even heard of one lonesome female living near the Rio Grande in Texas. How she got there I am not sure, but she gave birth to a cub soon after she was seen there. This bear was a Yellowstone Park bear and semi approachable because most animals there are preconditioned to humans. A good and a bad thing….
