A note from the artist-
Working my way up to a half size elephant. I can’t convince Ampersand to do a super sized board. The biggest is 4’x8′ right now. Maybe I need to do it as tiles and put them all together? Kind of like the Blind men all at a different part of the elephant describing it and thinking it is many different species. I have some really great close ups after going to the Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyview SA. I also have great ones in the wild, but can use the close up reference to filling the details. Can’t wait until I have the time to do it!
