Sunday Afternoons

Sunday afternoons was inspired during a drive Fabio and his wife took on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) while visiting a few beaches along the way. While painting this piece he began thinking back to his early teen years;

“I remember that the neighbors across the street nearly every Sunday during the summer and fall would go for a drive. What made it memorable for me were the automobiles, their garage housed a 59 Blue Cadillac convertible with the large trunk wings and a white 57 Chevy Bel Air. They both would snuggle up close and drive away in the Cadillac only to return and repeat the drive again but this time around with the Chevy.” -

Fabio Napoleoni
