In Paradise Falls, the artist depicts Tahoe’s enchanting rapids, one of his recurring concepts. The loose impressionistic style that characterizes his oil paintings is apparent in the faithful representation of the cascading water beneath the tableau of a shack, a palm tree, and a bouquet of red flowers. His signature bold and bright colors are present as well.
