A note from the artist-
I love cats, that is no secret. I have observed that the Big Cats are just the same as the little ones with their actions. Curiosity is a big thing. the slightest noise or movement will capture their attention and make them freeze on the area it came from. This guy was in Northern Michigan when I was able to watch him and capture the moment. I experimented with a new “aqueous” technique for removal of the black surface on the rock. I am still trying to make scratchboard more organic. It’s working!
