A note from the artist:

While driving the countryside looking for Bighorn Rams and Pronghorns in the Absacora Mountains outside of Dubois WY, I was disappointed in only finding a herd of ewes on the higher mountainsides. I took a drive along the Wind River looking for the elusive pronghorns and thinking that they would be feeding on the farmers alfalfa fields later in the afternoon. It turned out to be another disappointment but as I turned to return home, I spotted this chipmonk on a wonderful rail fence. He made a great model for me and I love the late afternoon light. Made my trip worthwhile.
