A note from the artist:
I photographed these two California Gulls in Eureka standing on the edge of a cliff and gazing at the Pacific. I was fascinated because they were not afraid of us, but of course they were looking for food! They gave me great eye level action. I have plenty of other seagull shots, but normally on the ground eating. It was a joy watching them as well as watching the waves beat in on the shore far below me. The pacific coast has the best scenery.
These pieces where featured in the 100th Anniversary of the Audubon Museum in Ohio.
