A note from the artist-
The original of this piece was the first original I sold at my first Dallas Safari Club show. So many people had wanted to buy it, but I was a “new Artist” there and they did not have confidence in my longevity nor my new type of artwork. I can understand that but have sine proven to be one of the groups favorites, being declared “Artist of the Year” in 2019 an having my artwork grace both the cover of their magazine, Game Trails, as well as many T Shirt designs. We have made many friends among the exhibitors and the public alike. Many collectors have evolved as well. It was an experience that introduced us to a whole different world of nature and cultures around the world. An experience I would not trade for anything and also one that taught me to appreciate what nature offers right here in my own native country. I then started making many photo safaris right here in this huge and diverse country.
