A note from the artist-
A “power piece” for me. I have wanted to do this piece for 3 years, but it always takes me being in the proper frame of mind to do that. I am at the point right now, in my healing from my surgery that I want to breakout and be normal again. This was definitely the time to do this one. The challenge was to get the water to lift up with the fish as it jumped up after being hooked. I love the addition of the silver foil on some of the water droplets. It allows the work to almost glow in the dark.
