What are we but the “inventors” of our lives? We gauge, we test, we seek out; the “limits” of our mortal coils. We strive to perfect our “inventions” in such a way that our potential can merge with our sense of purpose and become a singular device with a singular intent. Trouble is, we live in a world forever in flux, and that flux can easily damage our inventions. To avoid that particular peril, we must learn to change on a dime without really changing at all, and the only was to do that is to become our own agents of flux- to change our OWN dime, instead of letting others change US on Theirs.
