The history of the Sapphire Optic Eye:
In order to explore the world of color, Jack Storms decided to take his very first piece, the Optic Eye, and add blue colored glass to the core of the sculpture. The Optic Eye and the Sapphire Eye may be the same shape but they offer two very different visual experiences. Within the Sapphire Eye there is a calmness that radiates from the natural characteristics of the core and as with all of Jacks sculptures, the form can be manipulated if placed in different types of lighting.
