The Marcus Ashley Gallery is an impressive 4400 sq. ft. of space dedicated to art and displays commendable collections by Michelangelo, Dr. Seuss, Steve Barton, and Alexander Volkov, among others. Besides its spectacular selection of fine exhibits by past and present artists, the gallery is home to Frogman art. Tim “Frogman” Cotterill is well-known for his frog-inspired sculptures that are life-like replicas of their counterparts. Visit the gallery online or on location to view and buy some interesting and eye-catching sculptures by Frogman.
Named after a friend of Tim’s, Sneaky Pete is a little turmeric-hued frog that darts in and out of view between blades of grass. The agile amphibian sports a fascinating mottled patina and smooth grooves across its trunk. Frogman adds a distinct textural finish to highlight the slender frog’s frame. Sneaky Pete appears frozen in time as his slightly curved form creates the illusion of movement. The amphibian’s webbed feet are coated in black and gold patinas in classic Frogman style. The sculptor’s frogs are easily distinguishable, for his unique craftsmanship and accurate representation are hard to miss.
Introduce Sneaky Pete to a bare corner or centerpiece ensemble and notice how he brings warmth and good luck to a space.
