“We take our childhood experience of observing different methods and translate our love for nature into our three-dimensional paintings.” – Miri & Barak Rozenvain
Lake Tahoe is one of the most popular winter destinations in the world for sports enthusiasts. Snowboarding, skiing, sledding, ice skating, and hiking are just a few activities offered in the district’s numerous resorts. Snow bunnies who simply love snowball fights and a soft blanket for snow angels find it the perfect venue as well. As a bonus, they get to visit Marcus Ashley Fine Art Gallery and pick up a piece or two of Barak and Miri Rozenvain art.
The duo’s collaborative creations called 2Wild are incomparable and innovative. The Winter Kingdom, for instance, is a mixed media artwork. Layers of resin, paint, crystals, clay, and sand come together in a beautiful composition of a mountain scene, one of their favorites. Living in the rural environs of Whistler, Canada where majestic peaks lie within arms reach, the siblings show mastery over their composition. Barak lends this piece his adeptness at applying textured aesthetics, while Miri provides her imaginative details and definition.
