“Our family’s favorite hobby is brainstorming for new art concepts. Every year, we travel together to major art shows, galleries, and art districts around the world to find inspiration in an endless amount of new artwork. This creates a melting pot of ideas.” – Miri and Barak Rozenvain
In the bustling shopping district of Heavenly Village, art aficionados will find Marcus Ashley Gallery. One of Lake Tahoe’s premier fine art galleries, it boasts an impressive collection. Among its noteworthy collections is Barak and Miri Rozenvain art, a repertoire of collaborative artwork from the brother-sister duo known as 2Wild. Their work includes unique pieces of paintings and mixed media featuring stunning natural landscapes.
Capturing a moment in time is one of the recurring themes in Barak and Miri art. American Adventures is another of their masterpieces created by combining various elements and materials in a collage that depicts an American cowboy astride his handsome steed. They are illustrated in motion by the seemingly abstract composition of magazine clippings, paint smears, resin layers, crystal specks, and sand grains. And yet, both figures are made discernible by the genius Rozenvain strokes and applications.
Rich textures are also a signature of 2Wild art pieces, with every piece inviting a viewer to reach out, touch, and feel. This mixed media on panel is available in both the showroom and the online exhibition of Marcus Ashley Fine Art Gallery.
