A note from the artist-
Now this Monkey started to be for my Daughter-in-law, whose favorite drink was Merlot. She also had a kitchen with grape decorations all over including a hand painted grape vine on the soffits above her cabinets. Since the Kitchen opened to the dining room and she already had one of my pieces there, a beautiful close up of a grapevine, I decided she needed a monkey over her wine cabinets. Then I fell in love with the mighty Merlot grape and it is still one of my favorites to this day
